The Palazola name has been synonymous with fresh produce in the Memphis area for over 100 years.

Since great grandfather, Tony Palazola, started selling fruits and vegetables from a horse and wagon in the early 1900’s, the Palazola family has continued servicing the Mid-South Area.

M Palazola, incorporated in 1974, is a family business rich in history. Since inception, the company operates as a customer centric business with family being its anchor and core. The company comprised of matriarch, mother-grandmother, Josephine, who retired at the age of 90 in 2015, her sons Mike, John, Charlie and Andy, grandson Drew, grandson-in-law, Jesse Conrad and several 40 plus years veterans, namely General Manager, Ric Gaia and CFO, Kerry Forsythe.

Over the course of the past 45 years M. Palazola has become a leading wholesaler and distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables to restaurants, schools, hospitals, prisons, other institutional food service establishments, retailers and wholesalers in the Greater Memphis Tri-State area.

It is one of the few, and maybe the only, complete full service produce facility under one roof in the Memphis Tri-State area. With fresh tailor cut produce, rooms for custom ripening for bananas, avocados and tomatoes, repacking tomatoes and repackaging made to order, the company has the flexibility to pack a dozen lemons or ripen 960 boxes, a truckload, of bananas to customer’s desired color.
